Key Difference: In the regular marketplace, community members post jobs and students apply. In the Reverse Marketplace, students post services they offer and community members apply to hire them!
Pricing: Students set their rate (minimum $15/hr). Community members pay the student's rate plus a 20% platform fee. For example, if a student charges $20/hr, you pay $25/hr.

Payment Flow:
  1. Community Member Pays
Community member sends payment via e-transfer to campusconnect0925@gmail.com with service ID in message
  2. Admin Approval
Admin verifies payment receipt and approves the transaction
  3. Student Works
Student completes the work and submits proof photo
  4. Payment Released
Once community member approves work, payment is released to student in one week
Secure: All payments are verified by admin before work begins, ensuring protection for both parties.

Payments made through external methods (like Venmo, Zelle, or cash) are not protected by Campus Connect, violate our terms of service, and may be scams. All official payments are handled securely through our "Pay & Approve" system.

Yes. To maintain and improve our platform, we deduct a 20% commission from the final payment released to the Student. For example, if the final job price is $100, the Student will receive $80. There are no fees for Community Members to post jobs.
